Arawai is the goddess of inner peace and serenity, but also of the peace that can be found outside oneself. The serenity of death and the calming effects of night or nature are attributed to her.

Certain oral traditions mention that Arawai once had a half-brother with whom she shared domains. Her brother was supposedly destroyed, not by some god or mortal, but by something third. After his death Arawai takes over his power and rises above Vesna — her own mother.\\   
There exists no evidence of the alleged dead god, yet neither does any other theory explain how Arawai overpowered her mother.

Her followers mention her only as a pleasant female voice that is omnipresent on a field of wheat stretching as far as the eye can see. Sometimes it seems to them that a breeze shapes fallen leaves into the form of a female body, or of lips that speak. No matter how much they run across that field or wherever they turn, it will always be as if they have remained in the identical place. At the top of a small hill covered with wheat that sways in the breeze like waves on the sea, and the illusion is helped by the gently undulating ground. Regardless of the time of year the wheat is always fresh for harvest.

Although she does not possess the domain of nature, some farmers pray to her for help with their crops. Most of the clergy consider this a misconception, that is, that they are confusing her with the goddess Lada. \\
Traditionalists on the other hand do not think it is a misconception, but rather that it points to a time before Lada existed.

Family people from small communities eager for a peaceful life, monks in martial arts schools attempting to master their personal nature, widowers and widows in search of serenity.  
Followers of this goddess come from diverse backgrounds, but all share a common goal — personal peace and enlightenment.\\
Temples of Arawai are spacious, full of art and flowers, and some kind of music constantly plays in them.  
They are usually architectural wonders, and architects and builders often compete for the honor of building or repairing her temple in order to display their skills.  
They often include or are located in galleries, cathedrals, gardens, museums and theatres.

There exists a myth about Arawai that tells how Glory came into possession of a cursed spear that once belonged to Bane. That weapon had the power to seize the souls of its victims and use their power to take over the wielder of the weapon. It was strong enough to corrupt even a goddess. \\
Arawai seized that spear in order to save her friend, but it did not have the same effect on her. The curse had nothing to corrupt in the soul of a being that knows itself perfectly.\\
Although a goddess of life, souls are not her specialty. She managed to free some souls, but not all. For that reason she often entrusts that spear to her followers so that through their own skills they may free as many souls as they can. Of course she takes care to reclaim the spear before the curse takes over its bearer.
